Barbecue Chicken in the Crock Pot

I hesitate to even call this a recipe because it is so simple. Yet there are days when all we need is simple. This is a pulled chicken cooked in a crock pot.

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 bottles of store bought barbecue sauce

Start by turning your crock pot on to a medium low temperature. Trim the excess fat away from the chicken. Place the chicken in the crock pot, cover with barbecue sauce & allow to cook for at least 6 hours, longer if you are at work. Using 2 forks when it is done shred the chicken.

I like to make a pot of this chicken & send it with Matt for lunches or we eat it as a casual dinner. If you have rolls you can eat it as a sandwich, we like it topped with a slice of cheddar. Or you can just eat it with a side of mashed potatoes. Enjoy this quick easy dinner.

Jessie, This recipe is right up my alley. They kids always make fun of me for using a crock pot so I can not wait to try this one out on them!
