Bring your hostess a gift

If a friend or family member was kind enough to host you for Thanksgiving dinner, return the favor by bringing a hostess gift with you. A bottle of your favorite wine is always nice but add this clever stopper/pourer combo from Sur la Table to your gift, for something that they will remember.
If you want to go the route of flowers, every hostess loves them but she might be up to her elbows in stuffing. Bring them in a vase, if you don't have time to run to a specialty store Target has great simple vases, go for a straight shape, buy a bunch of roses and trim the stems to just above the top of the vase.

Candles are also a great hostess gift, I am still loving my Pacifica candles. I love the Emperor's bounty gift set, it has great rich scents like Madagascar Spice, Tuscan Blood Orange and Mediterranean Fig. The box is so pretty all you need is a ribbon.

If you want to go all out bring the Oliver Mediterranean Gift set from Williams Sonoma, the contents could be used for creating impressive appetizers or grilled panini sandwiches. In the set bottles of tangy herbed Balsamic and savory Parmesan olive oils for dipping and drizzling; a jar of Mediterranean olives, and a jar of spinach artichoke dip. Your hostess will be happy to have this in her cupboard for those impromptu holiday gatherings.
